Zoo Meds new Can O products are the latest in reptile nutrition and convenience. There are eight different products to choose, from snails to shrimps.
The full range of feeder insects are cooked in the can called "retorting" which locks in the flavor and freshness while also softening the exoskeleton for easier digestion.
Below we have given a little information about each Zoo Med Can O products.
Can O'Snails - medium size unshelled snails. Ideal for skinks, turtles, monitors, tegus box turtles and small animals.
Can O'Pillars - soft bodied caterpillars that are high in protein and natural source of fat. Perfect for reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals.
Can O'Mini Mealies - small size mealworms. Ideal for most lizards, turtles, fish, birds and small animals, approx. 1,500 worms per can.
Can O'Grasshoppers - large size grasshoppers. Ideal for large monitors, tegus, skinks, turtles, and birds, approx. 20 per can.
Can O'Shrimp - freshwater shrimp. Excellent high protein treat for aquatic turtles, amphibians, aquarium fish and invertebrates.
Can O'Worms - medium size mealworms. Ideal for most lizards, turtles, fish, birds and small animals, approx. 300 worms per can.
Can O'Mini Crickets - small size crickets. Ideal for most small lizards, turtles, fish, birds and small animals, approx. 200 crickets per can.
Can O'Crickets - adult size crickets. Ideal for most lizards, turtles, fish, birds and small animals, approx. 60 crickets per can.
