What do Creeping Figs look like?

This evergreen plant has small green oval leaves. It is a creeping plant which will climb vertical surfaces and other plants, growing up to several metres if not kept pruned. The aerial roots can secrete latex which sticks to surfaces as it dries, enabling the plant to cling to smooth surfaces.

Where are Creeping Figs from?

Native to East Asia, and America.

How to care for Creeping Figs

These plants are perfect for a tropical environment and will thrive in hot and humid conditions. Plant in a warm area with moist but well drained substrate. They will happily live in partially shaded areas of a terrarium but thrive under full spectrum plant growth LED lighting. They can be fed to encourage growth using a terrarium safe biofertiliser liquid made with Superworm Frass.
