This bracket has been developed to solve the problem of fixing ceramic light fittings into vivariums quickly and easily.
Most common ceramic fittings available have a metal thread that is designed to be screwed through the roof of the vivarium. The problem with that is that you need to drill a hole through the roof of your vivarium, which means they are no longer stackable and you have an unsightly cable showing through the roof of the viv.
With the ProRep Universal Lamp Holder Bracket, you simply push the cable through the insert in the bracket, push the lamp holder thread through the brackets hole and tighten up the light fittings screw nuts. The bracket can then be screwed to the roof of the viv using four small wood screws (not included) or it can be attached to the viv as an angled bracket using its angle wing fixings.
