Great for adding dense foliage to tropical terrariums.
This evergreen plant grows to around 30cm in height with the leaves giving off a subtle lemon fragrance when touched. It has thick, dense fronds making it ideal for offering ground cover for many species.
Native to the tropics and subtropics of Asia, America and Australia.
These plants prefer a tropical rainforest environment, but don’t do well if the substrate is saturated. They do well in a coir/orchid bark mix, and will also grow in cracks on cork bark. They will happily live in shaded areas of a terrarium but thrive under full spectrum plant growth LED lighting as this aids colour and growth. They can be fed using a terrarium safe biofertiliser such as Superworm Frass.
