Royal Mail Group Industrial Action/Strikes

The latest shipping information for ordering during times of industrial action.

We would like to take this opportunity to again apologise to all our customers for the confusing situation that Royal Mail industrial/strike action has caused. We like many are hoping that the CWU and Royal Mail Group find a solution going forward.

Current Strike Dates

Friday 9th December.
Sunday 11th December.
Wednesday 14th December.
Thursday 15th December.
Friday 23rd December.
Saturday 24th December.

Please note, we will not be shipping any orders the day before, or on the day of strike action.

Foods and Supplies

We are continuing to process and ship all orders as quickly as possible.

During this period of industrial action and with the forthcoming festive period, it can be expected that some orders may take longer to reach you. We have been sending goods on tracked services in many cases to mitigate the risk of delays to our customers.

Pet Invertebrates

If you’re looking to place an order

We have been very limited in the days when it has been safe to ship pet invertebrates due to industrial action taking place over the last few months. This combined with the poor weather that is due this week has forced us into a position whereby we’ve had to take the decision to remove all available pet invertebrates from our website temporarily.

This decision has been taken to protect the existing customer orders we have and our livestock from unnecessary risk or further delays.

We will make all our pet invertebrates back available for sale on our website at the first opportunity, we hope this will before Christmas, but this will also be heavily dependent on Royal Mail Group, the CWU, and if they re-start negotiations.
