As from Tuesday 5th January 2021 and due to the ongoing situation with Coronavirus, Exotic Pets UK will be implementing some further changes.
We are essential
Like the previous lockdown, Exotic Pets UK wll continue to be open for all of your essential food and supplies, both in-store and online.
No mask, no entry (unless medically exempt)
This is not a new rule, and everyone is aware of the need for us all to wear face coverings nationwide. Unfortunately, we have had to remind a small number of customers over the last few weeks. Pulling your coat up over your face or wearing a mask as a chin strap is not acceptable. If you forget your mask, you can knock on the front door and you can purchase from one from our member of staff before entering.
Please be mindful that some customers are medically exempt and do not need to cover their face when shopping with us.

When entering and leaving the shop all customers must use the hand sanitiser provided. Please refrain from unnecessarily touching anything in-store during your visit.
We are continually cleaning down the store to mitigate and safeguard the health of our staff and our customers.
No large groups to enter our shop
During this next phase of lockdown, we ask that customers refrain from coming to our shop in large family groups where possible.
A maximum of eight individuals to be in the shop at any one time, this allows ample room for social distancing. We ask that you strictly follow government guidelines regarding social distancing when moving around the shop or are waiting to be served.
Click and Collect
Why not order online and collect in-store? During lockdown, the safest way of shopping anywhere is by ordering prior to your visit, we can prepare your order in in advance and contact you when it is ready to collect.
This is an optional, but not compulsory service.
We can mail-order food and supply items to you and we have been offering this service for over 15-years, if you are self-isolating or simply not comfortable coming to the store you can order online on our website or by phone and we will get goods shipped straight to you.
We understand from speaking with our wholesale partners there may be some shortages on pet supply items over the coming weeks. This is a combination of new Brexit restrictions and large amounts of PPE coming into port to combat the COVID crisis.
As a business we continue to increase the amount of stock we carry on-site, and our stock levels are good on most lines.
We will continue to update customers if anything changes, however we do not expect our services to be majorly impacted during this crisis.
Our couriers are operating as usual, except for our reptile courier delivering to Northern Ireland.
During the last lockdown we again saw a large increase in order volume, please be patient and give us enough time to process your order. You will receive email updates once your order has been dispatched and you can track your parcel by logging into my account for your tracking number.
We have seen a large increase in you emailing us over recent weeks and we do now have software that allows us to manage your queries more effectively, but we do ask that you allow us enough time to reply to you. We do our upmost to answer all queries in the order of which we have received them.
