New Delivery Costs

We have launched a new delivery structure to make this easy and simple for placing an order through Exotic Pets.

Most people will be aware that Royal Mail have increased their prices dramatically from the 2nd of April 2013. We have spent that last few weeks sourcing new couriers and deciding on some flat rate prices to charge. Here are our new prices:

LIVEFOOD – ONLY

This starts from only £3.50 for up to fifteen tubs!

LIVESTOCK (REPTILES/AMPHIBIANS)

During the warmer weather we have decided to slash our courier price and dispatch livestock on a next day service; this will cost £15.95. We will still have the earlier options available such as before 12 noon and 9am. In the cooler months of winter we will not risk sending out orders on a next day service and will only dispatch these on a before 12 noon service to ensure the heat packs are still warm and to prevent any stress to the animal. This service costs £19.95.

INVERT / FROZEN GOODS

We understand that our customers do not want to be paying over the odds when purchasing just a single spiderling or praying mantis. Price starts from £7.95 for small light items and will not exceed £8.95. All invert orders will be guaranteed to arrive the following day from dispatch.

EQUIPMENT

Smaller items will have a flat rate charge of £4.95 whereas large heavy equipment such as sand and vivariums will cost no more than £8.95 on a next day service.

Prices to Northern Ireland and Scottish Highlands may vary.

Our regular customers will know that we have decided to give you a quick courtesy call on the day of dispatching your order for livestock, invert or frozen goods. This is to ensure you will be home and so that you do not have to wait in every day from placing the order. Your account will also be updated to show this has been dispatched and a tracking number (if available) provided.

It is extremely important that all our customers check their contact details to ensure we have the correct telephone number. We NEVER pass on your details to third parties; we will only call you to inform you of the dispatch of the order or if there are any problems with the order placed. If a voice message can be left, we will inform you of the dispatch via this method.
