We would like all of our members who have been so understanding over the last few months with regards to delays in dispatching orders due to poor weather.
When our members place orders, it is our aim to dispatch orders within 10 working days, however, bad weather can cause further delays.
We started 2010 with a major backlog of orders that had been placed just before Christmas, snow showers and freezing temperature caused disruption throughout most of the UK. Exotic-Pets.co.uk understands how frustrating it can be waiting for a new pet to arrive, therefore we decided to carry out a number of same day hand deliveries throughout the UK. We would like to thank everyone who was patient with us during this difficult time and for all the lovely comments we received when we personally delivered orders.
When night time temperature drop below -0C we will not risk the animals welfare, this is for all reptiles, inverts and sometimes live food orders. Delicate species may not be dispatched until temperatures reach at least 5C during the evening.
If your order is awaiting dispatch and this has gone over our estimated delivery date, please bare with us, we are still limited to which days we can send out livestock and invert orders. Orders for dried goods and frozen may also be slightly delayed during this time.
